2012 TEXICO MISSION TRIP
The Texico Mission Trip is being planned for the week of February 25th to March 4th. Everyone is encouraged to pray about this and consider if God is calling you to participate in this mission opportunity. As in the past, this is a relatively inexpensive mission trip with priceless blessings. The monetary cost of the trip this year is $350.00 per person.
There is something everyone can do to participate in this ministry.
1 – Participate in the Wooden Car/Tractor project that provides an autographed, handcrafted toy to underprivileged children in the mission project area.
2 – Donate shoes/blankets of all types and sizes to be distributed by Border Missions of Hidalgo, Texas
3 – Donate travel size toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant/anti-perspirant, etc.) to the needy in the mission project area.
4 – Provide financial assistance.

A – A Texico Mission Breakfast fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 5th from 7:30a.m. to 8:45a.m. Freewill donations from this fundraiser will be used by the mission team to fund the purchase of construction materials for anticipated projects.

B – Fund a scholarship ($350.00) for a trip participant.
The drop-off location for donations is the tables located on the south side of the fellowship room. The cut-off date for donations will be Thursday, February 23, 2012.
Your support is appreciated by those who travel to the border and more importantly by those whose lives are touched by this ministry. By your donations of materials, time, finances, and prayer you will share God’s love with others.
