             8:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm on Friday


PRAYER FOR THE PASTOR  Any individual that would like to pray for the pastor before the morning service is welcome to join the Elders in the conference room at 8:30 a.m.


CHURCH COUNCIL The church council meets every fourth Wednesday of the month in the conference room.  Committee chairpersons are expected to attend along with the elders and clerk of monthly meeting.  As a chairperson if you are not able to attend please have someone from your committee attend in your place.


Committees Chairs-Your expense reports to date are in your mailboxes.  These need to be reviewed and your 2011 Budget needs to be turned into the Stewardship Committee by Nov. 14.


Remember Shoeboxes need to be brought to the church by November 15.  Please add your shoebox to the collection in front of the pulpit!  Our goal is 150 boxes!!!


The Mitten Tree!  Lynnville's USFW has the mitten tree set up for you to decorate with MITTENS, SOCKS, GLOVES, SCARVES. and CAPS . .  Some of the places we hope to send the collection is Quakerdale (Newton, Marshalltown, and Eldora), Domestic Violence (Grinnell and Newton), Teen Challenge of Colfax, Prairie City Rehabilitation Center, and Lynnville Sully Schools & Daycares.  If you have a place you like for us to donate items to, please let us know.  Lyn Kinney, USFW President.
